Overview of Production Flow

Production Flow is a web application that allows you to monitor and manage the print files uploaded to Epson Cloud Solution PORT (cloud).

Production Flow includes the following main functions.

Process management

You can manage all tasks from submission to shipping. You can register routine tasks before and after the printing process, such as design, pretreatment agent application, laminating, cutting, and manage their progress.

Work order management

Print files are managed in units called work orders. You can use work orders to manage information such as print files, number of copies to print, delivery time, and customers.

Printing process management

Uploaded print files are printed using software (digital front end) that sends print data from the cloud to printers. When making settings for print instructions, you can allocate the print file to multiple printers or a printer at the remote location. You can also specify a spot color contained in the PDF file and match the printed color to the sample color before the actual printing (requires an Epson spectrophotometer).

Printer monitoring

Production Flow constantly monitors the printers registered in Epson Cloud Solution PORT. You can check the status and printing progress of each printer.
