Description of the Progress on the Print flow Screen

Meaning of Numbers and Icons

Item

Description

Quantity

Displays the number of copies that will be printed for the print file currently being processed in each task.

Progress (Status icon)

The following icons are displayed for each task other than Printing standby and Color Matching.

  • : The task is in progress.

  • Not displayed: The task has not started or has been completed.

When spot color matching is being performed, the following icons are displayed for each task in Color Matching.

  • : The task has not started.

  • : The task is in progress.

  • : The task is not in progress.

When preprocessing for printing is being performed by the RIP, the following icons are displayed for each task in Printing standby.

  • : The task is in progress.

  • : The task has not started or has been completed.

If a printer error occurs, the background color of that task turns orange, and the error icon and printer name is displayed.

These are displayed when the status is Color Matching, Printing standby, Printing, and Printed.

Hover your mouse cursor over this icon to display the printer name used for that print file.

Note:

If you unregister Quick Sets or hot folders after printing, Production Flow cannot acquire the printer name. In this situation, Unknown is displayed.

Each Task for the Printing Process

Settings Standby

Displays the number of copies for the print file that has not yet been sent for printing and the Print button.

Click Print to display the Print settings screen. The Print button is grayed out and unavailable when the print file is being uploaded or when the print status is displayed in Color Matching.

Color Matching

When spot color matching is being performed, the progress is displayed.

Standby spot color chart printing

Waiting for the spot color chart to start printing.

Spot color chart printing

Printing the spot color chart.

Standby spot color measurement

Waiting to start measuring the spot color chart or measuring the spot color chart.

Completed spot color measurement

Measuring the spot color chart is complete.

Printing standby

When preprocessing for printing is being performed using the RIP, the progress is displayed.

If printing is canceled or fails, the progress will also return to this task.

Data send

Sending print data to the RIP.

Print preparation

Generating a raster image for printing by the RIP.

Printing

Displays the number of copies for the print file being printed.

Printed

Displays the number of copies for the print file that have been printed.

Estimated completion time: Displays the estimated printing completion time when printing from Epson Edge Print or Epson Print Automate. Displays the latest completion time when there are multiple print jobs. Displays "-:-" when there is a print file waiting to be printed or a printer error has occurred.
